Masterplan Consultation

Following extensive consultation the Masterplan for the redevelopment of the Herne Bay Central area was formally adopted by Full Council on the 17th of February 2011.

Since the formal submission of the Masterplan in December 2010, it has received unanimous support from Councillors. The Masterplan has now been adopted by Canterbury City Council through the following approval process:

• 26th January 2011 - Overview and Scrutiny Committee
• 1st February 2011 - Herne Bay Area Member Panel
• 8th February 2011 - Development Control Committee
• 14th February 2011 - Special Executive
• 17th February 2011 - Full Council

A copy of the adopted Masterplan can be viewed through the attached link below, together with the boards that were recently displayed at the Kings Hall, on the 9th of March.
